Wojciech Breowicz (16 I 1902 – 24 I 1966) – a poet, journalist, teacher, activist of Peasants Movement (between the first and the second world war cooperated with Wincenty Witos), a soldier- volunteer. The artist whose workshop could be characterised as unique. The theme of his poems, letters, memoirs and articles is mainly life during emigration. Not only once, outstanding professors and critics of folk literature like Franciszek Bujak, Stanisław Pigon and Karol Ludwik Koniński was written about his creative activity.
